A man from Seattle has died in a snowmobiling accident near Pemberton.
It happened Saturday morning on the Appa Glacier, south of Pemberton, in the headwaters of Rutherford Creek.

The man was snowmobiling with a group of friends when he fell about 35 metres down into a crevasse.
He was found by his party a short time later.
Police have not released the man’s identity at this time.
