After a string of late appearances and bizarre on-stage antics during Madonna‘s Australian concert leg, things reached uncomfortable levels when the pop icon invited a woman onstage and proceeded to pull her corset top down, exposing her breast to thousands of concertgoers.
At Thursday night’s concert in Brisbane, after fans had waited several hours for the show to start, Madonna invited 17-year-old fan Josephine Georgiou onstage, describing her as: “The kind of girl you just want to slap on the ass.”
After slapping her lightly on the bum, Madonna then pulled down her top, exposing her left breast.

“Oh s**t! Oh sorry, sexual harassment… you can do the same to me,” exclaimed Madonna. Georgiou seemed shocked and laughed it off.
Indeed, later on, Georgiou defended the pop icon’s actions.
She told the Courier-Mail: “Only I get to decide if I’m humiliated or not. Why would people assume I am humiliated by my own breast, nipple or body? It’s hilarious to me how much of a big deal it is to everyone.”
Georgiou went on to say that she only looked surprised because she was on stage with Madonna, and she confirmed to The Mirror that it was not a staged stunt.
And don’t expect her to sue Madonna.

“Seriously, why would I sue Madonna for the best moment of my life? It was the best night,” she gushed. “She was calling me a Victoria’s Secret model the whole time I was on stage, which is so flattering.”
Even Georgiou’s mother, Toni Thewun Andonly, was “proud” of what happened.
Other fans certainly weren’t as forgiving.

Brisbane concertgoers were allegedly offered refunds, and some reports say Madonna ended up playing to a half-empty stadium at the Entertainment Centre in Brisbane.
