A grandfather in West Palm Beach, Fla. claims his grandson’s substitute teacher attacked him, leaving him in a wrist brace.
Alphonso Williams told WPEC News the unidentified teacher beat him up and that the attack was unprovoked.
“He managed to hit me on my temple then he kicked me on my side,” told Williams to WPEC. “I thought I was dreaming. This wasn’t happening to me.”
The school the unidentified employee worked at, West Riviera Elementary School, declined to comment since the investigation is ongoing.

However, the school district confirmed to WPEC the teacher has been removed from his duties and won’t be allowed back until the case is complete.
Still, Williams said the fight was uncalled for.
“He ripped his glasses off and ripped his sweater off and he came after me…he punched me,” said Williams. “He was like a mad man and [school employees] couldn’t hold him back. He broke away from them and came after me again.”
Williams said police plan on charging the unnamed teacher with assault.
