The network announced a pilot order on Wednesday, meaning a first episode will be created.

Just like the original movie, the Heathers TV show will revolve around Veronica Sawyer (Ryder’s character in the film). Not many other details are known at this point, but there will be a group of mean girls for Veronica to contend with.
There is no word on what network, if any, will air the series in Canada — if it even makes it to air.
