Police investigating 2 shootings in North Battleford, Sask.

Mounties are investigating two separate shootings in North Battleford, Sask., one which left a man injured. It’s unknown at this time if the two incidents on March 13 are related.

Just before 4 a.m. CT, police were called to a residence the 1600-block of 104th Street where a man suffered a single gunshot wound to his leg. The 22-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.

Witnesses were interviewed and no suspects have been positively identified, according to officials.

Then around 10:30 p.m., RCMP were called to a residence in the 800-block of 111th Street after a witness in the area heard several gunshots. Police have confirmed the home was struck by more than one round.
