A Saint John tire and auto service company was seriously damaged by fire Saturday afternoon.
The blaze at Personal Auto and Tire on Rothesay Avenue was reported shortly after 1:30 p.m. and was fully involved when crews arrived.

Two vehicles inside the garage were successfully removed by fire fighters.
Crews were challenged by high heat and zero viability with the centre portion of the roof also collapsing.
No one was injured in the blaze.

A section of the busy Rothesay Avenue was closed to traffic for about three hours but has since re-opened.
The cause is under investigation. The owner of the business tells Global News he plans to reopen as soon as possible.
