Montreal police search for 3 suspects in D.D.O. armed robbery

DOLLARD-DES-ORMEAUX – Montreal police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store early Saturday morning.

Officers received  a 9-1-1 call at 12:15 a.m. about a robbery in progress at a depanneur on Sunnybrooke Boulevard  and Spring Garden Street.

According to police, three suspects with their faces partially obscured by turtle-neck sweaters entered the store.

The suspects then motioned the two employees on duty into the back of the store by simulating weapons under their clothing.

Once the two clerks were locked up, the thieves made off with cigarettes and lottery tickets, fleeing the scene in a SUV.

No one was injured during the robbery.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
