‘Hot felon’ is out of prison, signed to modeling agency

WATCH: First it was his mug shot, now it's his head shot.

When Jeremy Meeks posed for a mug shot in 2014, no one expected for it to one day become the first photo of his modeling portfolio.

The booking photo of the convicted felon went viral when the Stockton Police Department posted it after a gang raid. The photo now has over 101,000 likes on Facebook.

With his chiseled cheekbones and steely blue eyes, the Internet dubbed him the “hot felon.”

During his time in prison, Meeks was signed to talent agency Whitecross Management.

Meeks’ agent, Jim Jordan, told BuzzFeed that there are lots of offers on the table, including movies.

“We have a lot in store regarding Jeremy’s new career,” Jordan said in a statement. “There are a multitude of offers on the table.”

The father of three will be released from the residential re-entry program in July.
