It’s that time of the year again. The Vancouver Police are auctioning off hundreds of recovered items in an event that has become an annual tradition.
The auction features items that have been seized by the Vancouver Police and have gone unclaimed for a period of six months. These items are auctioned off for a fraction of what they’re worth.
This year, there is a large variety of goods, ranging from jewelry to snowboard and ski equipment.
There are more than 300 bikes for sale, with featured bicycle brands including Norco, Peugeot, Raleigh, Trek and Kona. There is also an assortment of electric and folding bikes, including a custom built gas chopper-style bike.
Some of the more unique items include an $11,500 14KT white gold diamond set bracelet, a high wheeler penny-farthing bike, collectable Batman figurines and a bag of assorted Canadian and British stamps with a Pierre Trudeau commemorative poster.
Other items include coin collections, model trains, comic books and multiple musical instruments including guitars and a saxophone.
Electronics and computer products will also be on display, including a 15” MacBook pro, along with digital cameras, film cameras, PlayStations and video games.
