RCMP investigating fatal Lower Sackville crash

Halifax RCMP are trying to determine what caused a crash in Lower Sackville on Sunday afternoon that killed a 21-year-old Middle Sackville man and sent two other people to hospital.

Police said the man died after his vehicle veered across four lanes of traffic and struck another vehicle head-on on Sackville Drive around 1:10 p.m.

The 21-year-old was taken to hospital in serious condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.

A 62-year-old man and his 42-year-old female passenger were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Sackville Drive was closed for several hours as a result of the crash.
