CALEDON, Ont. – One person is unaccounted for after a residential blaze in Caledon Sunday morning, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
Caledon Fire said they received several calls about a fire near Mayfield Road and Clarkway Drive just after 6 a.m.

Fire officials say the blaze started in the basement, but spread to the first and second floors. Smoke was visible from several kilometres away.

A woman escaped the home, but a man reportedly ran back inside and has not been seen since.
The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called to investigate.
