EDMONTON — Canada’s 100 Best magazine has released its second annual list of the top 100 restaurants in the country and three Edmonton eateries have made the cut.
Bar Bricco, an Italian wine and spuntini bar on Jasper Avenue, cracked the top 100, coming it at number 51 on the list.
Corso 32, a modern eatery also in downtown Edmonton, came in at number 81 on the list. Both Corso 32 and Bar Bricco are owned by chef Daniel Costa.

The third Edmonton restaurant to make the top 100 list is Rostizado. The downtown Edmonton restaurant was founded by Dani Braun, Chris Sills and Edgar Gutierrez and offers rotisserie-style Mexican food.

The magazine released its second annual restaurant ranking Monday, which is determined by an expert panel including chefs Rob Feenie, Lynn Crawford and Mark McEwan.

“It’s a great list – a really accurate measure of quality, coast-to-coast, over a year in dining time,” the magazine’s editor in chief Jacob Richler said.
