Newfoundland and Labrador man arrested after fire at medical centre

TROUT RIVER, N.L. – The RCMP in Newfoundland have a man in custody after he allegedly broke into a medical centre and started a fire.

The Mounties say officers were called to the Trout River Medical Centre early Saturday after receiving reports of a break and enter.

When police arrived, a fire was burning inside of the building.

The RCMP say an investigation lead police to a 29-year-old man from Trout River.

He was arrested and is facing charges including break and enter, arson and resisting arrest.
