That’s a drop of 3.3 per cent.

The rate for aboriginal students was even lower at 32.7 per cent.

Lysyk says the Ministry of Education hasn’t sufficiently identified or analyzed the reason for the drop.

She says the ministry also hasn’t given clear direction to the educators on how to improve graduation rates and that needs to change.
