Charges laid in Alberta First Nations stabbing

EDMONTON – Police have laid charges in a northern Alberta stabbing that left one man in serious condition.

Fabian Skani, 31, has been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon after police were called to a home on the Cold Lake First Nations Saturday, where they found a man with multiple stab wounds.

Skani was arrested at the scene.

He was taken into custody and will appear at Cold Lake Provincial Court Wednesday.
