PENTICTON — The 2016 B.C. Winter Games is just around the corner and there are some volunteer spots that need to be filled.

The Biathlon competition, which will be held at the Telemark Nordic Club in West Kelowna, needs volunteers for its three-day event (February 26-28). Some positions include target pullers, scorers, course controllers, penalty loop counters, and start and finish line assistants. Training will be provided to volunteers. Shifts are between 8 a.m. and noon.

Other volunteer positions that need to be filled are drivers for courtesy cars and Games photographers.
