Lethbridge police are hoping someone can help identify a potential witness in the death of a 56-year-old woman who was killed in a Columbia Boulevard apartment last week.

Officers said attempts to identify the woman shown in the surveillance image have not been successful. They stress she is a witness, not a suspect. They also believe she may have information that could help in the Frances Candice Little Light homicide investigation.

Police said at about 5:15 p.m. last Sunday, emergency officials got a report of a severely injured female in an apartment along the 100 block of Columbia Boulevard. Little Light was found in her apartment, and was pronounced dead a short time later.

“Several people from the apartment were subsequently detained for questioning and a search of the area was conducted by the K9 Unit,” police said in a statement.
