WATCH: Jimmy Fallon mocks Marco Rubio election ad featuring Vancouver stock footage

Jimmy Fallon couldn’t resist making fun of U.S. presidential candidate Marco Rubio’s election ad dubbed Morning Again in America, which features stock footage of Vancouver, B.C.

The TV ad opens with a tugboat rolling past a seemingly anonymous harbour as the narrator says “Today. It’s morning again in America.”

The images, however, don’t match the text as the harbour is actually in Vancouver.

WATCH: Marco Rubio’s campaign still isn’t acknowledging the ad that clearly shows footage of Vancouver while talking about “morning in America.” But as Jackson Proskow reports, Rubio isn’t the only one with a campaign commercial gone awry.

On Tuesday, The Tonight Show host took a jab at Rubio by re-working the opening of the ad using still images of Paris, Great Pyramid of Giza and the The Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz.

“Oh come on, that’s Oz!,” Fallon joked. “That’s not even a real place!”

Although, what Fallon failed to mention, was that not only was the Vancouver skyline clearly shown in the ad, but the tugboat sported a Canadian flag.
