The emergency room at St. Michael’s Hospital remains closed Tuesday after a burst pipe flooded the department on Monday.

Hospital officials say the area will once again be off-limits to walk-ins and trauma patients as crews continue the clean-up operation.

There’s no indication when the emergency room will reopen.

People requiring emergency services are being asked to visit your nearest hospital.
