A group of Saskatchewan climbers have been forced to abandon their attempt to get to the summit of a Yukon peak that bears their province’s name.
A co-worker of one of the four climbers on Mount Saskatchewan says he was able to talk with the group by phone, and confirms they’ve had to stop.

The reason why wasn’t clear, but the co-worker says they had been delayed by a storm.
The members of the Alpine Club of Saskatchewan had hoped to become the first to summit Mount Saskatchewan.
