Two people have been rushed to hospital in serious condition after being hit by cars in Surrey.
It happened in a marked crosswalk at 68 Avenue and 125 Street at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
Both pedestrians were struck by a SUV. One of the victims was apparently sent flying into the path of another car and ended up getting pinned underneath it.
Firefighters were quickly able to free the person. The two victims, both male and in their mid-20s, were transferred to hospital but have since been released with only minor injuries.
Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.
There is no word yet on the cause of the accident.
