Police investigate suspicious fire at Pierrefonds garage

PIERREFONDS-ROXBORO – The Montreal police arson squad has been called in to investigate a suspicious fire at a garage on the West Island.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. on des Sources Boulevard, near Pierrefonds Boulevard.

“There was a break-and-entry at the back of the garage and at least one incendiary device was thrown in,” said Daniel Lacoursière with Montreal police.

Damage is limited to part of the garage and one car that was inside.

Officers are looking for a suspect; no arrests have been made.
