TORONTO – A 19-year-old man seriously injured in an assault in an Oshawa rooming house last week died of his injuries in hospital Saturday.
Durham regional police say Oshawa resident Tehganni Lewis sustained critical injuries in the assault at 737 Cedar Street on Saturday Jan. 23. He was transported to a Toronto hospital, and died Saturday morning.
Police say they have no information on suspects, and are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity at the time to contact Det. Moore or Det.
