WINNIPEG — Officers have made an arrest following a grow operation bust in the Eaglemere area Wednesday evening. Members of the tactical support team and the marijuana grow operation unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 1st 100 block of Deering Close.
After searching the home, police found and seized 488 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $546,560 and growing equipment valued at $13,600.00.
A 57-year-old Winnipeg man was arrested and is facing charges of producing a scheduled substance and possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking.
He’s been released on a promise to appear.
