Police say a 33-year-old New Brunswick woman was killed when her car crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a pickup truck.
The accident occurred at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on Route 11 in Tracadie-Sheila.
Police say the woman was heading south when it’s believed she lost control of her vehicle, crossed into the northbound lane and was struck by an oncoming truck.
Poor road conditions may have been a factor.
The driver of the truck and a passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist is helping with the investigation.
