Planned power outages on way for part of downtown Winnipeg

WINNIPEG — Hydro customers in parts of Winnipeg’s core area will be without power for an hour on Thursday.

The outage will affect 152 customers, and will start around midnight and last until 1 a.m.

Manitoba Hydro said the power outage will affect the area of Laura Street east to Main Street and Higgins Avenue south to James Avenue.
