Public inquiry being launched into actions of Manitoba judge

A public inquiry has been launched into the actions of a Manitoba judge caught in the middle of a sex scandal.

The Canadian Judicial Council will determine if Lori Douglas, an Associate Chief Justice of the Manitoba court of Queen’s Bench should be removed from her post.

In 2003, Douglas’ husband, Jack King, suggested to one of his clients that he have sex with his wife and gave him nude pictures of her.

The photos later surfaced online, King has already been reprimanded by the Law Society of Manitoba.
