RCMP search for woman last seen in October north of Edmonton

EDMONTON — Desmarais RCMP are asking the public for help locating a 44-year-old woman who was last seen in October, but officially reported missing more than a month later.

Police said Gloria Gladue was reported missing by her family on Nov. 17, 2015.

Gladue was last seen in Desmarais Oct. 9 and is known to visit the Edmonton area. Desmarais is located about 320 kilometres north of Edmonton.

“The RCMP want to confirm that Gloria is safe,” Desmarais RCMP Cpl. Kevin Peterson said. “We believe the public is our best resource in locating missing people.”

Gladue is described as an aboriginal woman with brown hair and dark brown eyes. She is 5’7″ tall and weighs about 133 pounds.

The RCMP Missing Persons Unit and the K Division General Investigation Section are assisting with the investigation.
