City officials have are using surveillance video to help them figure out who cut down dozens of trees on city land.
It happened in a forested area behind Britannia drive.
It’s believed someone cut the trees down to better the view, and possibly increase the value of homes in the area.
Officials are now using surveillance video from surrounding homes to help in the investigation.
Whoever cut the trees down could face a hefty bill.
The lowest fine for cutting a tree down is $300, and it can go as high as $10,000 per tree.
