Prepaid credit cards snatched by thief at 7-Eleven in Humboldt, Sask.

Mounties have released this photo of a suspect wanted in relation to a theft at a 7-Eleven in Humboldt, Sask. last month. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible.

On Dec. 10, 2015, a man entered the convenience store around 1:45 a.m. CT. The suspect provided the clerk with $800-worth of prepaid credit cards to have activated.

The cards were activated and the suspect grabbed them out of the clerk’s hands and left the store without paying. Humboldt RCMP say the suspect fled eastbound on Highway 5 in a dark blue GMC truck or SUV.

The suspect is described as being of aboriginal descent, in late 20s or early 30s, five-foot eight, with black short hair. He was wearing a black toque, black winter jacket, blue jeans and white shoes.
