Cape Breton Regional Police Service officers were called to a home in the area because the man left his parent’s home that same day for a walk but did not come back, according to a press release from police.
Officers, who were helped by the department’s K-9 Unit, found the man’s body near a breakwater not long after searching.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service death will help with the investigation.
