EDMONTON- Police are investigating after a woman’s body was discovered near some show homes in northeast Edmonton in the early hours of Christmas Day.

A passerby discovered the body sometime in the morning near 46 Street and 127 Avenue.
Police said an investigation is underway, but that the death is not believed to be suspicious.
A cause of death will not be determined until an autopsy is performed.
