Nine sent to hospital following Saskatoon crash

SASKATOON – One person is in critical but stable condition after a three vehicle crash in Saskatoon. It happened at the intersection of 22nd Street West and Diefenbaker Drive just before 6 p.m. CT.

Police say a vehicle heading west on 22nd attempted to turn left in front of an eastbound vehicle, causing a collision. A third vehicle heading east on 22nd then collided with the first vehicle.

MD Ambulance took nine people to hospital. Most were reported to be in stable condition but a 67-year-old man went into cardiac arrest and had to be revived.
