REGINA – Estevan Police were called to the city’s west side on Monday after human remains were found in the valley.
Police have the area secured and are investigating hoping to find some clues.
“The public is being advised to stay away from the area as to not tamper with the scene,” said Inspector Murray Cowan with the Estevan Police Service.
The identity of the person has not been confirmed by police however Geoff Alexander was reported missing from the community about a month ago.
“Geoff Alexander was reported missing just over a month ago and we certainly can’t confirm if it is him or not at this point.” Cowan said.
Police are unsure at this time when they will be able to identify the remains.
