A fishing boat was found sinking in the waters of False Creek near the Olympic Village this morning.
The 30-foot wooden fishing vessel appears to be derelict with no known owner.

A Coast Guard tasked hovercraft is en route to assess the situation. An environmental response officer is on board to check for any fuel spills or hazards.
No one is believed to be onboard. It is not clear where the boat came from.
The coast guard says similar incidents are not unusual considering the condition of some vessels in the area.
