Man armed with sawed-off shotgun robs Saskatoon store

SASKATOON – A store in the 800-block of 29th Street was robbed Sunday night by a man with a sawed-off shotgun. It happened around 6:45 p.m. CT.

He demanded cash and cigarettes and took off on foot in a westerly direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was physically injured in the robbery.

Attempts by numerous patrol units to track down the suspect were unsuccessful.

Police are looking for a man who is approximately five-foot eight with a large build. He was wearing a black toque and neck warmer, a grey hoodie with an “Under Armour” logo, grey pants, black shirt and white shoes.
