INNISFAIL, Alta. – An attentive Innisfail hotel employee led RCMP to a major drug bust on Monday.
Innisfail RCMP were called out to a local hotel after an employee noticed a guest was providing false vehicle information and was acting suspicious.
When police arrived, they found enough evidence to begin a drug investigation. Working with Calgary police, officers discovered an unspecified amount of cocaine, 46 fentanyl pills and over $35,000 in cash.

Police arrested and charged a 26-year-old Calgary man with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
