HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police are investigating a report of a man attempting to lure a 10 year old boy into a vehicle in the Herring Cove Road area around 6:30 p.m. Monday evening.

Police say a man approached the boy in a dark colored SUV in the area 0-100 block of Herring Cove Road. The man offered to give the boy a drive and offered him candy.
The man is described has having no accent.
Anyone with information on this incident are asked to contact police.
