Sheree Fertuck remains missing after week-long search

SASKATOON – Monday marks one week since the disappearance of a Saskatoon woman – a situation police are calling suspicious. Sheree Fertuck, 51, has been described as a person of habit and it’s unusual for her to be out of contact with family, according to RCMP.

Fertuck lives in Saskatoon, but often stays at her family’s farm, east of Kenaston, Sask.

The woman’s semi-truck was found at a gravel pit where Fertuck made a living hauling the material.

On Friday, police said they were desperately seeking help from anyone who may have information related to Fertuck’s disappearace. People living nearby are asked to check their properties and surrounding areas for any unusual signs of activity.

Fertuck is described as five-foot four, 250 pounds with greying brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing grey sweat pants, a grey sweater and white running shoes.
