Colorado low expected Tuesday night bringing snow across Red River Valley

WINNIPEG —  More snow is on the way for the Red River Valley.

A Colorado low is expected to swing through beginning Tuesday night into Wednesday leaving behind enough snow to bring out the shovels.

In addition to the snow falling, the temperatures will fall right along with it.

Monday’s temperatures across the province will see very little change.

The most noticeable weather event of the week will begin Tuesday.

This system will move in from the South and according to Environment Canada, the early expectations are approximately 5-10 cm of snow for the Red River Valley area, including Winnipeg.

As this system begins to clear, temperatures will start to cool off closer to seasonal values.

Typically this time of year temperatures in Winnipeg will range from -10° Celsius to -20° Celsius.
