TORONTO – Police have released the identity of a man shot to death near Toronto’s Fairview Mall on Friday.
Dwayne Smith, 38, was fatally wounded with a single gunshot in the area of Parkway Forest Drive and Sheppard Avenue East on Dec. 11 around 9 p.m.

Police said they found the victim on the sidewalk and was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
No suspect description has been released.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
