Robert Patrick LaPierre, described as avid cyclist, missing since Saturday

HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police are asking for help finding a missing Dartmouth man.

Robert Patrick LaPierre, 46, was reported missing shortly before 9 p.m. on December 12. He is described as a heavy set white man about 5’6″ with facial scruff and very short hair.

Police believe he may be travelling on a black and white mountain bike, with pink rims that may have a blue bicycle lock underneath the seat when he disappeared.

He is described as an avid cyclist and is known to use his bike to get around the city.

Police believe LaPierre was riding this bike when he disappeared. Halifax Regional Police

Investigators say there is no information to suggest LaPierre has met with foul play however, police are concerned for his well-being.
