Tensions that had been simmering for nearly two months boiled over when a brawl broke out Tuesday night at a town board meeting in Indiana.
Former Town Marshal Darrick Cullison was caught on camera lunging at Daryl McCullough. After what appeared to be a couple of missed punches, Cullison could be seen holding McCullough by his eye sockets.
The story goes back to Oct. 23 – when the town board voted to fire Cullison from his Town Marshal position.

The Terre Haute Tribune Star reported in late November that Cullison had filed a lawsuit against the Town of Hymera. His attorney cited the improper following of state-mandated procedures as the reason the termination was invalid. Cullison was seeking his job back and any salary he missed since.
No arrests were made after the incident, according to WTHI. The investigation has been handed over to the Indiana State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
