TORONTO – Police have commenced an investigation after shell casings were found in west-end Toronto Monday evening.
Police received a call around 11 p.m. ET. near the area of Humber Boulevard and Cliff Street.

Authorities said the shooting happened sometime on Sunday but the shell casings were only reported on Monday.
There’s no word on any suspects or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
