It’s been more than five weeks since Lee Antoni found his wife Amanda dead inside their Calgary home.
“All I really want is my wife back. I miss her every day, every minute, every second,” Lee Antoni said today through tears, in his first comments to the media since the tragedy.
Her death remains a mystery.
“We are just lost for words, we just want closure,” Antoni said.
“My life has been changed upside down.”
Amanda Antoni was found dead in their Castleridge home in northeast Calgary on October 26. Officers believe the 31-year-old died sometime between 7 and 7:30 p.m. on October 24.
Police can only say Amanda’s death is suspicious, with signs of violence in the home.
But so far, police have no motive, no suspects, no answers for the family.

Police are appealing to the public, hoping someone will come forward with a tip that could crack the case.
“Prior to her death Antoni was suffering from migraines and it’s believed she may have run several errands Friday and Saturday to local herbalists or pharmacies in search of treatment for her condition,” said Staff Sergeant Doug Andrus.
Investigators have now turned to RCMP criminal profilers for help.
“We’ve gone to the Behavioral Sciences Branch. In general terms they look at the crime scene and assist us with reconstructing what happened and they also do a behavioral analysis to determine any interaction between an offender and a victim,” said Andrus.

Antoni says he can’t sleep, and that nothing about Amanda’s death makes sense to him.
“I wish I could invent something that would get animals to speak, cause if Ruby (their dog) could speak right now everything would be solved cause she was there, Gizmo (their cat) was there.”
His life is consumed with grief and unanswered questions
“Who would take her from me or us as a family, when she did nothing wrong, why does she deserve it she did nothing wrong and that’s what I don’t get. She never did anything wrong.”
Amanda was driving a four-door, 2012, black Chevrolet Cruise. Anyone who may have had contact or seen her on Saturday – or may have seen suspicious activity around her home – is asked to contact Calgary police at (403)266-1234 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
The family has created a GoFundMe account to assist with “some of the costs associated with this tragedy.”
