CALGARY – The family of a Calgary woman found dead in a Castleridge home on Monday is pleading with the public to come forward with any information that might help police.

Emergency crews were called to a house in the 0-100 block of Castledale Way N.E. at around 3:45 p.m. When they arrived, paramedics found Antoni dead inside the home.

Antoni’s cause of death remains unknown, and although police have stopped short of calling it a murder, the homicide unit is leading the investigation.

On Thursday, family members released a heartfelt statement saying they are still “in shock at the unexplained death.”

“At this point, we know very little about what happened to Amanda and are working with the Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit in any way we can,” said the statement. “We are also in search of answers, as we know many of you are as well.”
