REGINA – Major improvements and planned maintenance will be done on more than 1,200 kilometres of Saskatchewan highways.
The work includes the completion of twinning on Highway 11 between Saskatoon and Prince Albert and the start of new passing lanes for Highway 10 from Balgonie to Fort Qu’Appelle.

The province says in a news release that a total of 150 kilometres of rural highway upgrades is targeted to be complete this season.
Details of the 2012 highway construction comes as CAA Saskatchewan wraps up its worst roads campaign.
The online vote, which started March 27, looks for the road with the worst potholes, cracks, sink holes or just general disrepair.
Highway 22, between Southey and Earl Grey, was leading the list.
