New Westminster police look for witnesses after pedestrian hurt in hit-and-run

New Westminster police are investigating a hit-and-run that sent a pedestrian to hospital.

A man was found in the middle of Brunette Avenue near Sherbrook Street Saturday night.

It’s not clear how long he was there for, but according to police, it appears he was hit by a vehicle and the driver took off.

There are reports other motorists may have seen him, but didn’t stop and just drove around him.

The man is now in stable condition and police are asking anyone who saw what happened to give them a call.
