TORONTO – Police are investigating a late-night shooting that left bloodstains and a bullet-riddled vehicle but no visible victims.
Investigators searched a stretch of Cherokee Boulevard near Finch and Victoria Park Avenues around 10:45 Friday night.
Police found bloodstains, eight bullet casings and a Dodge Journey with multiple bullet holes. They searched the area with K9 units for several hours, but found no victims or suspects.
Police also searched area hospitals for anyone with suspicious injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
