TORONTO — Have you ever wondered what Mayor John Tory is listening to?

Well, wonder no more.

The mayor tweeted out a Spotify playlist of his favourite tunes on Friday, which included songs from The Rolling Stones, The Weeknd and – of course – Justin Bieber.

The playlist proves Tory has broadened his musical horizons to include current Top 40 favourites.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

In July, the mayor mistakenly called America rapper Kanye West a “proud Canadian” after it was announced West would perform at the Pan Am Games closing ceremonies.

He later poked fun at himself by releasing a video of himself wearing a Toronto Blue Jays hat riding the subway, blasting West’s “Stronger,” which is also featured on his new Spotify playlist.
